Building the Future of Independent Soccer in Ottawa

Every winter, thousands of players lose valuable training opportunities because indoor field space is extremely limited. Most available facilities are controlled by sanctioned organizations, leaving many independent clubs with very few options.

The Canadian Academy Soccer League (CASL) is changing that.

Our goal is to build a modern, year-round indoor soccer complex owned specifically to support independent clubs, academies, players, and families.

Instead of relying on existing facilities, we will build our own.

The Vision

The proposed facility will include:

• 1 FIFA-size indoor turf field

• Multiple smaller youth development fields across the width of the building

• Professional spectator seating

• Modern change rooms

• Coaches meeting rooms

• Video analysis room

• Fitness and warm-up area

• Café and viewing lounge

• Club offices

• Large parking area

• Future expansion space

Why Donate?

Every dollar donated helps build permanent soccer infrastructure that benefits players for generations.

Unlike traditional fundraising, club donations provide real value.

Clubs that contribute receive priority access to indoor field scheduling through our exclusive Draft System.

Fair Draft System

Every participating club receives guaranteed access to premium field times.

Example:

1. Club A raises $10,000
2. Club B raises $8,000
3. Club C raises $6,500

The draft begins:

Round 1
• Club A picks first
• Club B picks second
• Club C picks third

Round 2

The order repeats, allowing every club to secure quality training times before remaining hours become available.

Once the draft is complete, any remaining field time becomes available on a first-come, first-served basis.

This prevents larger organizations from purchasing all of the prime evening hours while ensuring every participating club receives fair access.
